School of Agriculture held a training course for trianees from republic of Kosovo

Thanks to the arrangements made by the JICA and University of Jordan, the School of Agriculture had the opportunity to cooperate and have interesting exchanges with the experts involved in the course entitled:

“Audit, inspection and monitoring of hygiene requirements and HACCP system in Food Organizations”
Given to (13) trainees from the Republic of Kosovo was held from 13th – 24th of October 2019.


Prof. Hani Sauob, Dean of the School of Agriculture, opened the training course by welcoming the trainees from the Republic of Kosovo and wished them a pleasant stay in Jordan.
The content of the training course was systematic and comprehensive. The course started with  visits  to factories and local markets to  observe Food inspection that were arranged with personnel from Amman Municipality and Ministry of Health and the team was accompanied by our dear Lab technicians. These visits were followed by lectures where Prof. Yamani provided a rich introduction about Requirements of ISO 9000:2015 and ISO 9001:2015 related to audits, and Guidelines of ISO 19011:2018 for auditing management systems; and then he proceeded with Preparation of checklist and conducting the inspection.


Then Eng. Sameer Abu Ali from Jordan Drug and Food Administrations continued on the Outcome of the inspection, dealing with nonconformities; continual improvement; and Record keeping. The course was concluded under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Kifah Al-Jamani / Vice President for Scientific and Medical Schools Affairs and she handed the certificates to the trainees in the presence of both University of Jordan and JICA Personnel.
