The doctoral program of “Animal production” addresses the preparation of qualified specialists equipped with training and expertise in farmanimal production, which mainly include nutrition, physiology, reproduction, feed resources, management, genetic improvement and diseases. 
The Animal Production Department will cover all activities related to teaching and supervision of doctoral students. It will also be possible that faculty members of other local or international universities could participate in doctoral students’ supervision. However, research topics should comply with local or international importance for solving problems that face animal production sector.   
This program is a thesis track, composed of 54 credit hours, of which 21credits are obligatory; 15 credits are elective, and 18 hour dissertation. Classes will be lectured by 10 faculty members from the department having wide teaching experience in their fields.
