Ph.D in Horticulture and Crop Science / Practical Training & Field Experience

There is no field training plan in the Ph.D programs, but on the other hand there is an applied practical training in the specialized laboratories within the program in the fields of research, several examples of which are not exclusively:
a)  Adoption of studies on modern agriculture in unusual environments (soilless agriculture)
b)  Studies on harvest and post-harvest physiology
c)  Plant breeding to withstand stress conditions such as salinity and drought
d)  Improve plant resistance to diseases
e)  Research on improving taste and nutritional value
