ABET SOs: - An ability to identify, formulate, and solve broadly-defined technical or scientific problems by applying knowledge of mathematics and science and/or technical topics to areas relevant to the discipline.
- An ability to formulate or design a system, process, procedure or program to meet desired needs.
- An ability to develop and conduct experiments or test hypotheses, analyze and interpret data and use scientific judgment to draw conclusions.
- An ability to communicate effectively with a range of audiences.

Program Educational Objectives (PEOs): - Provide graduated students with a strong foundation in horticulture and crop science by teaching them scientific principles and practical techniques.
- Supply the local, regional, and international agricultural sectors with competent and distinguished graduates.
- Provide graduated students with a solid scientific foundation that enables them to pursue further education in horticulture and crop science at local and international universities.
- Emphasizes raising awareness among farmers, investors, and consumers about the scientific methods of horticultural production and the proper post-harvest conservation of products.
