PhD in Animal Production / Program Intended Learning Outcomes

  1. Master advanced, specialized knowledge of animal production by understanding how biological processes affect productivity, linking theory with practical applications to meet growing products demands.
  2. Gain a detailed understanding of farm animal management and production by considering both local and global contexts, while applying fundamental concepts of biosecurity and maintaining high-quality animal products.
  3. Conduct high-quality scientific research and publish findings in international journals by effectively gathering and analyzing research data and using quantitative methods to solve challenges in animal production.
  4. Develop and evaluate administrative systems in animal production through practical improvements in genetics, nutrition, and reproduction, as well as by assessing projects, identifying key issues, and providing solutions.
  5. Verify and apply the necessary conditions, techniques, and technologies to enhance both the quantity and quality of farm animal production, while optimizing production conditions to suit local circumstances.
  6. Contribute effectively to teaching animal production courses in academic institutions.
  7. Lead and develop the animal production sector by applying acquired knowledge and skills and by creating sustainable solutions for current challenges.
