The Department of Animal Production hosted two lectures for Trouw Nutrition - Netherlands

The Department of Animal Production had hosted yesterday with the coordination of Dr. Mohannad Abu Ajamieh, the regional manager of Trouw Nutrition-Netherlands in the Middle East Mr. Abdulmajeed Salameh; and Mr. Waseem Abed Alnabi; the Research Assistant at Trouw Nutrition and the BSc student in the Department of Animal Production at the University of Jordan, with the presence of department members, students and representatives of specialized companies.

Mr. Abed Alnabi had introduced the first lecture which was about “Effect of Pre- and postpartum nutritional management on performance of lactating cows" in addition to a brief explanation about his work as a research assistant for 7 months with the Ruminant Researcher at Trouw Nutrition Dr. Victoria Sanz-Fernandez.

The second lecture was presented by Mr. Abdulmajeed Salameh and was about the Anti-Microbial Reduction in farm animals and its role in reducing the antibiotic residues in animal products in order to alleviate the problem of antibiotic resistance in humans.

At the end of the lectures, Dr. Mohannad Abu Ajamieh and the honorable attendees thanks the two lecturers for the valuable and useful knowledge and information they provided.
