The project was submitted by Prof. Jamal Sawan and Prof. Mahmoud Qasrawi. Support and funding for the project were obtained at a value of more than (one million and 200 thousand Euros) from the (Institutional Cooperation for Knowledge Project) program offered by the Dutch University of Nuffic, which is a global development program for a period of time. Five years, it aims to strengthen capacities through education and training in several areas including food safety, nutrition, resource management and other challenges facing current societies.
